Jazeera Airways (J9, Kuwait) is set to begin twice weekly services from Kuwait to Dubai's new airport, Dubai World Central, effective October 31 in addition to its multiple daily services to Dubai International. As it stands, the facility will commence passenger trials on October 12 which, if all goes according to plan, with result in it opening to traffic on October 27. Saudi Arabian low-cost operator, nasair (Saudi Arabia) (Riyadh), which had been touted as a maiden operator with Jeddah International and Riyadh flights on October 27 has not yet announced if and when the move will take place following management changes at the Saudi LCC. Wizz Air (W6, Budapest) is the only other scheduled passenger operator that has already confirmed flights to DWC.
