Ruili Airlines (DR, Kunming Changshui) has taken delivery of a pair of B737-700s, formerly with Air Berlin (1991) (Berlin Tegel). According to WCARN, the jets, msn 36873 & 36874, arrived in China in late November following a period of storage in Munich. In August, Ruili's parent, Yunnan Jingcheng Group Co., signed a purchase agreement with the German carrier to acquire the two 737-700s this year and two B737-800s next year. The deal was facilitated by Chinese lessor, Minsheng Commercial Aviation. A private venture, Ruili intends to launch operations next spring.
