Air Onix (Simferopol) has had its Air Operators Certificate suspended by the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry and the State Aviation Service. The decision was taken following a recent meeting of the regulator in which it was resolved that Air Onix should submit all its financial statements and a detailed plan to repay its creditors. Sources claim the airline is seeking to resume operations in Spring with Kyiv Boryspil to Simferopol and Donetsk to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion flights. This, however, is contingent on the airline passing an audit scheduled for January. The ch-aviation aircraft database shows both Air Onix aircraft - a B737-300, UR-KRA (msn 28873), and a B737-400, UR-KRE (msn 26302) - as being parked at Kyiv Igor Sikorsky.
