Air Croatia (Zagreb Franjo Tuđman) is to commence operations on June 14 with Gothenburg Landvetter to Zagreb Franjo Tuđman using an A319-100 wet-leased from CSA Czech Airlines (OK, Prague Václav Havel). According to EX-YU Aviation News, services from Stockholm Arlanda to the Croatian capital, as well as Split, will be inaugurated in October.

"Plans are to expand operations to all year round on Saturdays once weekly on the route Gothenburg-Zagreb-Split and Stockholm-Zagreb-Split starting in October,” the airline said in a statement. “There will also be flights between Tel Aviv Ben Gurion and Zagreb during the period June to September for a Israeli travel company and eventually from south of Italy to Split for Italian travel agencies.”

Denim Air ACMI (Amsterdam Schiphol) will also fly smaller groups and charters to Dubrovnik and Zadar from Sweden and Norway on behalf of Air Croatia. The Dutch ACMI specialist, in conjunction with fellow Croat start-up, Adriatic Skyways (Dubrovnik), will cooperate with Air Croatia on domestic Croatian routes.
