Lao Skyway (LK, Vientiane) has deployed its first of two MA-60s, RDPL-34226, into service on flights between Vientiane and Houeixay, Oudomxay and Luang Namtha airline director, Bounma Chanthavong, has announced. Bounma said the Laotian carrier's move into the north of the country was part of its long-term plan to offer extensive domestic coverage.
Formerly Lao Air (Vientiane), the airline changed its name to distinguish itself from Lao Airlines (QV, Vientiane). Lao Skyway also offers flights from the capital to Phongsaly and Sayaboury using two Do228s.
