VIM Airlines (Moscow Domodedovo) has taken delivery of its first Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) metal, an A319-100, VQ-BTL (cn 3364), on lease from Ansett Worldwide Aviation Services (AWAS). Configured with 150 seats, the aircraft will be joined by another, also on lease from AWAS, later this year.

VIM also operates nine B757-200s and one B767-300 on flights throughout Russia, the CIS and Western Europe. In August 2013, it placed orders for five Tupolev Design Bureau (Zhukovsky) Tu-204s and five Bombardier Aerospace (BBA, Montréal Trudeau) CS300s.
