Silver Air (Czechia) (SLD, Prague Václav Havel) will begin operating scheduled services between the Italian mainland and the island of Elba Island with effect from October 27, 2014. Flights to the resort island will operate from Pisa, Florence Peretola, and Milan Linate on-board a Let 410.
Flights to Pisa and Florence, which are subsidized by the Italian government, will operate year-round while Milan Linate flights will only operate during the Christmas holidays and again from next summer.
The Czech operator recently completed a similar summer-only venture operating Kissfly (Lugano) flights between Elba and Lugano as well as Milan Malpensa for and on behalf of Cityline Swiss (Lugano).
