Aerolíneas Argentinas (AR, Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery) will operate Trelew's maiden international service on October 18 when it launches a weekly São Paulo Guarulhos flight. According to ch-aviation schedule data, the B737-700 service will operate until December 13.

Located on the Atlantic coast in Argentine Patagonia, Trelew was founded in 1886 by Welsh settlers and today is an important commercial and industrial centre specializing in wool processing.

At present, the airport is connected to twelve other local destinations by Aerolineas Argentinas, LADE - Líneas Aéreas del Estado (Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery) and Sol Líneas Aéreas (Rosario Islas Malvinas).
