Blue Air (Romania) (0B, Bucharest Otopeni) is set to establish its first Italian base in Turin with effect from October 26. Using a single B737 based at the airport, the Romanian LCC plans to offer a 6x weekly service to Catania in Sicily initially with other destinations expected to roll out in due course.

With a fleet of two B737-300s, eight B737-400s, and one B737-500, Blue Air operates budget services connecting Romania with the Mediterranean and Western Europe with hubs in Bacau and Bucharest Otopeni.

Blue Air does not yet serve Turin, it currently serves nearby Cuneo from both Bucharest and Bacau though.
