Aurigny Air Services (GR, Guernsey) has added a maiden Do228 to its fleet with the lease of CS-TGG (cn 8160) from Portugal's Aero Vip (Cascais) Jethros database has reported. An additional four of the type are scheduled to arrive late next year for use on flights to Alderney, Dinard/St. Malo, and Southampton. They are intended as replacements for the carrier's outgoing fleet of Trislanders.
As the Fairchild Dornier turboprop is only scheduled to make its commercial debut once pilot training has been undertaken, the Guernsey-based carrier has leased a Let 410, OK-ASA (cn 902439), from VAN AIR Europe (V9, Brno) for a period of two weeks.
