Texel Air (XLR, Bahrain International) is a new Bahrain International-based cargo carrier offering regional and international cargo flights using a pair of B737-300(F)s - A9C-TXL (msn 28200) and A9C-JNC (msn 24710) - initially. Having commenced operations earlier this quarter, Texel proffers its aircraft to the ACMI and charter services market.
Founded in May 2013, the carrier received its Air Operators Certificate (AOC) in September of last year and is licensed, equipped, and approved to provide cargo airline and MRO services.
