Turbo Megha Airways (Hyderabad International) has revised its launch plans to an April date using a combination of ATR72 turboprops and VIP nine-seater executive jets. Vankayalapati Umesh, Turbo Megha's managing director, told India's Deccan Chronicle newspaper that services will primarily focus on the country's central Andhra and Telangana regions.

“We are planning to start, if all permissions from the Director General of Civil Aviation are obtained, by the first week of April. Turbo Megha Airways is planning flights to Tirupati, Hyderabad International, Aurangabad, Vijayawada and Rajahmundry. We are operating 72-seater ATR - Avions de Transport Régional aircraft aimed at the middle class and pilgrims,” he said.

Complimenting the carrier's mainline operations, Turbo Aviation Corporation will operate VIP jets on charter flights using Vijayawada as its main hub.

The start-up secured its No Objection Certificates (NOC) from the Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation in July of last year and has been in the process of securing its Air Operators Permit (AOP) from the Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) ever since.
