airBaltic (BT, Riga) has launched weekly B737-500 services from Riga to both Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh as well as three weekly Fokker 50 flights between Riga and Gothenburg Landvetter. It has dropped its Riga-Warsaw, Vilnius-Budapest and Vilnius-Warsaw routes instead. Air Baltic is reportedly considering replacing some of its B737-500s by B737-300s or B737-400s next year.
