Air Kärnten (Klagenfurt) has announced it will now not launch twice-weekly flights between Klagenfurt and London Southend due to very low demand, ORF reports. The start-up so far only received nine bookings for the route.
The Austrian operator still plans to launch flights from Austria to leisure destinations in Southern Europe shortly and has reportedly decided to upgrade the equipment used on services to Girona and Lisbon from the planned CRJ200 to a chartered Fokker 100.
