Monarch Airlines (1968) (London Luton) has ended widebody and charter operations with G-EOMA (cn 265) plying the carrier's last A330-200 flight from London Gatwick to Birmingham, GB on Thursday, April 30.

As such, the carrier is now a fully scheduled operation no longer offering charter flights as has been its mainstay since its establishment back in 1968.

Following its acquisition by Greybull Capital LLP in October last year, Monarch announced it would transition into a "premium budget-carrier" while ending all long-haul and charter flights. With the departure of the A330s, its fleet now stands at eight A320-200s and twenty-four A321-200s.
