Colorful Guizhou Airlines (GY, Guiyang) has placed an order with Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos Professor Urbano Ernesto Stumpf) for the purchase of seventeen E190s including seven firm orders and ten options. The first aircraft is scheduled for delivery later this year.
A joint-venture between Guizhou Industrial Investment Group (90%) and Weining County Construction Investment Group (10%), Duocai Guizhou is currently pursuing its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) with the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). Once licensed, it plans to offer scheduled domestic passenger flights out of its Guiyang hub.
Duocai Guizhou's longterm fleeting plans calls for thirty aircraft by 2020, and between 120 and 140 in the future.
