United Airways (Dhaka) is planning to acquire three Dash 8-400s which, should the deal go through, are scheduled to arrive in-country in October of this year.

Currently, the Bangladeshi carrier operates three ATR72-200s, one Dash 8-100, and five MD-83s on a route network that includes domestic operations as well as flights to Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, India, Nepal, and Malaysia.

Though it is in the process of selling off its A310-300 fleet, United Airways is still intent on serving Europe - London Gatwick and Birmingham, GB in particular - later next year.
