Lufthansa (LH, Frankfurt International) has sold its 50% in tour operator Thomas Cook to co-owner KarstadtQuelle. As part of the transaction Lufthansa will increase its stake in leisure carrier Condor (DE/Frankfurt) from 10 to 24.9% and take over Condor's stake in Sun Express (XQ/Antalya). Lufthansa has wet-leased a single EMB-170 from Cirrus Airlines (C9/Saarbrücken). It will launch several new routes later this year: Dusseldorf-Sarmellek: weekly seasonal CRJ-200 service starting on April 14 operated by Eurowings (EW/Dortmund) Hamburg-Bastia: weekly seasonal CRJ-200 service starting on May 12 operated by Lufthansa CityLine (CL/Cologne/Bonn) Hamburg-Sarmellek: weekly seasonal CRJ-200 service starting on April 14 operated by Lufthansa CityLine Munich-Tirana: 2x daily CRJ-900 service starting on May 2 operated by Lufthansa CityLine Stuttgart-Florence: 2x weekly ARJ-85 service starting on March 31 operated by Lufthansa CityLine Stuttgart-Marseilles: daily CRJ-200 service starting on March 29 operated by Lufthansa CityLine Stuttgart-Prague: 6x weekly CRJ-200 service starting on April 16 Stuttgart-Westerland: up to 3x weekly CRJ-200 service starting on April 6
