Sol Líneas Aéreas (Rosario Islas Malvinas) is about to take delivery of its first ex-Air Nostrum (YW, Valencia Manises) CRJ200 (msn 7915). The aircraft has already been repainted in Europe and is scheduled to arrive in Argentina later this week.

According to ch-aviation research, Sol plans to initially operate the aircraft on a daily routing operating from Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery via Rosario Islas Malvinas, Córdoba International and Neuquén to Comodoro Rivadavia and vice versa. The flights, scheduled to start on October 19, will be operated in codeshare with Aerolíneas Argentinas (AR, Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery). The two carriers have recently started cooperating on domestic services with Aerolineas Argentinas putting its marketing code on Sol operated regional services.

Sol currently already operates a fleet of two Saab 340As and two Saab 340Bs on regional services from its bases at Aeroparque and Rosario.
