Iran Aseman Airlines (EP, Tehran Mehrabad) has announced on its Facebook page that it has acquired its first two B737-400s, two ex-Malaysia Airlines (MH, Kuala Lumpur International) aircraft to be registered in Iran as EP-APH and EP-API.

Iran Aseman therefore follows in foot steps of Caspian Airlines (CPN, Tehran Mehrabad) which has also already acquired ex-Malaysia B737-400s to renew its fleet.

The narrowbody fleet of Iran Aseman currently consists of two A320-200s and three B727-200Adv. passenger aircraft as well as a single B727-200(F) freighter.
