ACG Air Cargo Global (Bratislava) is considering venturing into the passenger services sector co-owners Igor Bondarenko and Andrey Goryashko have told Austria's aero.at website.

The cargo specialist, which operates a pair of B747-400(F)s, would use unspecified aircraft to ferry Chinese tourists to Bratislava with tour operators with demand of up to 1,000 passengers per week expected. Similar projects have been proposed involving the northern German airports of Kassel, Hamburg Luebeck and Schwerin.

ACG is majority owned by Slovakian tycoon, Igor Bondarenko, with former Aeroflot-Cargo (Moscow Sheremetyevo) boss, Andrey Goryashko, holding a minority stake. Its management, directors of flight operations, ground operations and network planning are all former ACG Air Cargo Germany (Frankfurt Hahn) personnel.
