Three German firms - INTRO Aviation, 4K Invest and Callisto - have submitted proposals concerning a 91.58% stake in Adria Airways (Ljubljana) Slovenia's RTV SLO has reported.

According to EX-YU Aviation News, the firms have already opened dialogue with Adria's creditors over a partial debt write-off which is seen as a critical for any potential investment. Binter Canarias (NT, Gran Canaria) also submitted a bid though it has now been withdrawn.

Ljubljana is the process of privatizing the carrier which unofficially, will register a net loss of EUR5 million (USD5.5 million) for this year.

The carrier's board had called an EGM for November 23 in a bid to raise an additional EUR8 million (USD8.81 million) in added capital. However, the meeting has since been postponed indefinitely until a new investor has been identified.
