RN-Aircraft (Moscow Vnukovo) has taken delivery of its maiden DHC-6-400, formerly C-GFAP (cn 928) on the Canadian registry. The aircraft, which was ferried to Russia by AeroGeo (Krasnoyarsk Yemelyanovo), is the first of ten ordered by the Rosneft subsidiary from Viking Air (VKN, Victoria International) earlier this year.

As RN-Aircraft has yet to secure its Air Operators Certificate (AOC), it will likely place the turboprops with a third-party in the near future. Aside from AeroGeo, Skol Aviakompania (CDV, Krasnoyarsk Cheremshanka) has also been touted as a potential candidate.

The Twin Otters will be used to ferry shift workers to oil fields in Krasnoyarsk region, and may enter service during the first half of 2016.
