Norwegian (Oslo Gardermoen) has taken delivery of its maiden B787-9 - EI-LNI (msn 37307) - following a positioning flight from Everett to Oslo Gardermoen on Tuesday, March 23.

The twinjet is leased from MG Aviation and is expected to make its commercial debut on Saturday, February 27 with flights from Oslo to Orlando International followed by San Juan Luis Muñoz Marin the day after.

Norwegian, which currently has eight B787-8s in service, has a total of thirty B787-9s on order from Boeing (BOE, Washington National). The -9s feature 344 seats with thirty-five in premium and 309 in economy.
