Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (Zhukovsky) and Mexico's Interjet (AIJ, Toluca) have signed a joint cooperation agreement wherein a newly established company will undertake all sales and marketing of the SSJ 100/95 in North, Central, and South America. The firm, which is still unnamed, will also assist in the setting up of SuperJet-capable MRO centres across the Americas.

The agreement was signed on Friday last week in the presence of the Russian Minister of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov, and Mexican businessman Miguel Aleman Magnani, President of Interjet's parent, Grupo Aleman.

InterJet currently operates twenty-one SuperJets on budget flights across Mexico as well as to the United States, Cuba, Guatemala, and Costa Rica.
