Boeing (BOE, Washington National) has revealed the identity of three customers that have placed orders and commitments under its Boeing Converted Freighters (BCF) program.

In an announcement issued during the 2016 Farnborough International Airshow, the US manufacturer said Bulgaria's Cargo Air (CGF, Sofia) and Colombia's Líneas Aéreas Suramericanas (4L, Bogotá) had each ordered two B737-800BCFs while Air Algérie (AH, Algiers) had committed to two of the type. An unidentified customer also ordered four B767BCFs, it said.

The aircraft will be modified into freighters at select facilities located near conversion demand, including Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services.

Boeing has so far won twenty-two firm orders for the B767BCF and up to fifty-nine orders and commitments for the B737-800BCF. The first B737-800BCF is expected to deliver during the fourth quarter of 2017.
