Three Russian carriers have applied to operate international flights out of Zhukovsky airport, also known as Zhukovsky, documents from the country's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) show.

Pegas Fly (EO, Krasnoyarsk Yemelyanovo) (formerly known as Ikar (IK, Krasnoyarsk Yemelyanovo)) intends on operating from Zhukovsky airport to Athens Int'l, Barcelona El Prat, Berlin, Bodrum Milas, Brussels National, Dalaman, Düsseldorf Int'l, Frankfurt Int'l, Goa Dabolim, Guangzhou, Heraklion, Innsbruck, Istanbul, Karlovy Vary, London, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, Salzburg, Thessaloniki, Urumqi and Xi'an Xianyang.

VIM Airlines (NN, Moscow Domodedovo) has applied to maintain flights from Zhukovsky to Amsterdam Schiphol and Madrid Barajas.

For its part, Nordavia (5N, Arkhangelsk) plans on commencing services to Barcelona, Tbilisi and Thessaloniki.

Earlier this month Belavia (B2, Minsk National) became the airfield's first scheduled commercial carrier when it launched flights from Minsk National.
