FMI Air (Yangon) will shortly add a maiden ATR72-600 to its fleet Skyliner Aviation has reported. Formerly 8Q-VAS (cn 1069) with FlyMe (Maldives) (Malé), the ATR - Avions de Transport Régional turboprop was ferried from Sanandaj to Shannon for repainting prior to delivery to Myanmar.
At present, FMI Air operates a pair of CRJ200s on scheduled passenger flights to Nay Pyi Taw and Sittwe from Yangon.
