Northern Air Cargo (NC, Anchorage Ted Stevens) has announced that it will begin scheduled charter operations out of Miami International with effect from November 1.

Using NAC's sole B737-300(F), the Alaskan cargo specialist says it will offer: a 2x weekly return triangular service connecting Miami with San Juan Luis Muñoz Marin and St. Maarten; a weekly flight connecting Miami with Santo Domingo Las Américas; and one weekly flight that will serve a triangular route between Miami, Port au Prince (Haiti), and Santo Domingo Las Americas.

Northern Air Cargo is the third all-cargo airline to start Caribbean/South American services at the Floridian gateway this year following Canada's KF Cargo (FK, Kelowna) in April, and 21 Air (2I, Greensboro Piedmont Triad International) which will debut in November as well.

For its part, NAC operates three B737-200(F)s and one B737-300(F) on regular cargo flights throughout Alaska.
