Viva Air Perú (Lima International) will commence operations during the first quarter of next year using a fleet of four A320s.

In an unveiling ceremony held in Lima on Wednesday, November 2, parent firm Irelandia Aviation said the Peruvian LCC would serve Cusco, Arequipa, Trujillo Carlos Martinez de Pinillos, Chiclayo, Piura, Tarapoto and Iquitos from its Lima International hub initially.

Sister carrier VivaColombia (Medellín José Maria Córdova) will provide technical assistance.

Once operational, Viva Air Perú will be the country's first de-facto budget carrier and one of several Irelandia Aviation is considering setting up in the region including VivaArgentina and VivaEcuador.
