Fly Corporate (Canberra) has announced that from February 1, 2017 it will commence services between Brisbane International and Biloela following the withdrawal of Qantas (QF, Sydney Kingsford Smith) from the route on January 31.
Whereas QantasLink currently operates the route 7x weekly using Dash 8-300 equipment operated by Sunstate Airlines (SSQ, Brisbane International), Fly Corporate will run it 8x weekly using Saab 340B equipment.
A rural town in Central Queensland with a population of almost 6,000, Biloela is located 120 kilometres from the Coral Sea coast.
