Frontier Airlines (F9, Denver International) could go public later this year The New York Times has reported quoting people familiar with the matter.

The report indicates the LCC has enlisted Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan Chase & Co, and Evercore to manage the listing. Through the sale of a 25% stake, Frontier hopes to raise USD500 million.

Prior to its takeover by Republic Airlines (Indianapolis International) in 2009, Frontier was listed on the NASDAQ.

It is currently owned by Arizona-based private equity firm Indigo Partners LLC.
