Caribbean Airlines (BW, Port of Spain) has confirmed it has wet-leased an ATR72-500 from Spanish ACMI/charter specialist Swiftair (WT, Madrid Barajas) on a two-month long contract.

FlightRadar24 ADS-B data indicates EC-KUL (msn 809) was positioned from Madrid Barajas to Port of Spain last week.

The airline has since issued a statement confirming that between January 7 and March 4, the turboprop will be deployed on multiple daily shuttle flights between the Trinidadian capital, Port of Spain, and Tobago.

Caribbean Airlines currently operates five of its own ATR72-600s on flights from Port of Spain to Bridgetown, Caracas Simón Bolivar, Grenada, Tobago, and St. Lucia Vigie.
