Air Costa (Vijayawada) has revised its planned relaunch date to at least until March 15. The regional carrier suspended all flights on Tuesday, February 28, citing unspecified “financial issues” with GECAS from which it leases four E190s. It had planned to resume flights from Wednesday, March 1, pending the resolution of those issues.

However, Vice President (Marketing) Kavi Chaurasia told the IANS that talks with unspecified investors over an injection of fresh working capital were taking longer than expected.

As such, bookings through March 15 have been suspended with an operational update to only be provided then.
