Nordwind Airlines (N4, Moscow Sheremetyevo) will expand its fleet with seven B737-800s to be delivered by the end of May. Speaking with Russian Aviation Insider, CCO Imran Nazarov said that the new aircraft are destined for domestic operations.

The first aircraft – VQ-BDC (msn 42056) – is currently at Woensdrecht airport undergoing maintenance checks. Each of the new aircraft will carry Nordwind's new livery, which was unveiled this week.

Nordwind's current fleet consists of five A321-200s, three B737-800s, one B767-300(ER)s, and three B777-200(ER)s. In partnership with parent firm and tour operator, Pegas Touristik, Nordwind offers scheduled charter flights to destinations in Central America, the Caribbean, North Africa, the Middle East, the Mediterranean, Western Europe, Mauritius, India and Sri Lanka, China, and Southeast Asia.
