Air Costa (Vijayawada) has suspended ticket sales indefinitely, the New Indian Express reports. As previously reported, the Indian regional carrier suspended all flights on February 28 citing unspecified "financial issues".

"We have been talking to potential investors and have arrived at the final stage of discussions for funds infusion," Kavi Chaurasia, VP of Marketing & Communication, is reported as saying. "We will have an update in the next one month."

Two E190s leased from GECAS were recovered by the lessor last month.

Before suspending operations in February, Air Costa had served Ahmedabad, Bangalore International, Chennai, Hyderabad International, Tirupati, Jaipur, Vijayawada, and Vishakhapatnam.
