Sky High Aviation Services (Santo Domingo Las Américas) has announced plans to begin scheduled passenger charter flights to the United States, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.

In its application to the US Department of Transportation (DOT) for exemption authority as well as a Foreign Air Carrier Permit (FACP), the Dominican carrier said it plans to operate the flights 3x weekly using its sole Beech 1900D, HI1007 (cn UE206).

As such, it is seeking DOT authority to engage in charter foreign air transportation of persons, property, and mail, between points in the Dominican Republic and the United States.

Sky High Aviation Services' passenger charter fleet also includes a single Beech 99, four BN-2s, and various other light aircraft. Specializing in regional Caribbean services, it is looking to start direct flights to Bahamas, Curacao, St. Maarten, and the Turks & Caicos islands.
