Air Born (Balikpapan) is set to add a first DHC-6-400 to its fleet, reports aviation blog Twin Otter Spotter. The former AL!GOZ aircraft re-registered PK-BAR (msn 857) is leased from Montrose Global, and is currently undergoing maintenance and re-branding at the AIROD facility in Malaysia.

The aircraft will join two DHC-6-300s in Air Born's fleet – PK-BAC (msn 576) and PK-BAA (msn 611).

Air Born specialises in passenger charter operations for the mining and oil industries, but has also secured a contract with the District of Nunukan regency to carry out year-round flights between Nunukan and Long Bawan in the province of North Kalimantan.
