Viva Air Perú (Lima International) parent Viva Air has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) for fifty A320 Family jets. Sources told Reuters last week the tentative order includes thirty-five A320neo and fifteen A320ceo.

A Latin American low-cost carrier group owned by Irelandia Aviation, Viva Air will distribute the aircraft across its VivaColombia (Medellín José Maria Córdova) and Viva Air Perú (Lima International) units.

VivaAirPerú commenced domestic Peruvian operations last month using a fleet of two A320-200s sourced from sister carrier VivaColombia (Medellín José Maria Córdova).
