Boeing (BOE, Washington National) has announced it has signed a tentative agreement with an unidentified major airline customer for 125 B737-8. Announced during the 2017 Paris Air Show at Paris Le Bourget, the agreement also includes purchase rights for an additional fifty aircraft.

In its new 2017 Current Market Outlook released earlier this week, the US manufacturer says airlines around the world will require more than 41,000 aircraft over the next twenty years.

Fueled by low-cost carriers and emerging markets, the single-aisle segment will see the most growth, with nearly three-quarters of new airplanes deliveries, or 29,530 new aircraft, needed over the next two decades according to Boeing's report.
