bmibaby (Nottingham East Midlands) has announced several new routes for summer 2009: Cardiff-Lisbon: 2x weekly service starting on March 29 Manchester-Amsterdam: 2x daily service starting on March 29 Manchester-Toulouse: 3x weekly service starting on March 29 Nottingham-Almeria: 3x weekly service starting on March 30 It will give up its Birmingham-Jersey route on September 25 and will temporarily suspend its Birmingham-Rome Fiumicino and Cardiff-Murcia services between November 4 and March 29, 2009. bmibaby has leased two ex-Air Vanuatu (NF/Port Vila) and ex-JetLite (S2/Delhi) B737-300s. It is also temporarily wet-leasing A319-100s from parent bmi british midland (BD/Nottingham) and ERJ-145s from sister carrier bmi regional (BD/Aberdeen) to cover for late deliveries of B737s.
