Tianjin Airlines (GS, Tianjin) will take delivery of the first A330 widebody jet to roll out of Airbus's recently inaugurated Completion and Delivery Center (C&DC) in the Chinese city of Tianjin.

According to Skyliner Aviation, A330-200 B-8596 (msn 1805) was ferried from Toulouse Blagnac to Tianjin on August 9 where it will be brought up to delivery standards.

The C&DC will install each incoming A330's cabins and furnishings, video equipment, air conditioning, carpeting and cargo doors, roof panels, seats, curtains, safety equipment, labels, kitchens, and carry out painting ahead of its handing over.

The facility, which was built primarily for aircraft heading to Chinese operators, will aim to deliver one jet per month, rising to two per month in 2018-2019.
