Alliance Airlines (QQ, Brisbane International) has announced it has been awarded a contract for the provision of air charter services for Australian mining company MMG Dugald River Pty Ltd.

In a statement, the Australian FIFO (Fly In, Fly Out) specialist said it would operate flights between Townsville and Cloncurry, QL, located 65 kilometres south-east of MMG's Dugald River zinc-lead-silver mine in Northern Queensland, Australia. The initial contract is for two years with a further two years at MMG’s option.

Alliance Airlines previously provided similar services to MMG into its Century Mine, 250 km north northwest of Mount Isa, between 2009 and April 2016.
