Jat Airways (Belgrade) is reportedly close to bankruptcy after no bids where received for the privatization of the carrier and has announced cuts to its network and fleet. It will only operate nine instead of fifteen aircraft in the winter season. Jat will give up its routes from Belgrade to Gothenburg Landvetter, Malta, Prague, Tirana and Tripoli on October 25. It will codeshare with CSA Czech Airlines (OK/Prague) on the Belgrade-Prague route instead.
