The government of Antigua and Barbuda and Caribbean Helicopters (Antigua) have signed a joint cooperation agreement which will see the recently established Barbuda Airways (Barbuda Codrington) rolling out sustainable and affordable flights between the islands of Antigua and Barbuda Codrington.

Barbuda Air is expected to start a 2x daily Antigua-Barbuda shuttle service in the next two weeks using a Caribbean Helicopters Piper (twin piston) PA31-350 Chieftain. A maiden BN-2 is now expected to start operations in December when all formalities with the Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority (ECCAA) are to have been completed.
