Malaysia Airlines (MH, Kuala Lumpur International) has announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) for an order potentially totaling sixteen aircraft.

In a statement issued during the state visit of Malaysian Prime Minister Muhammad Najib Bin Tun Abdul Razak to the United States, the carrier said the agreement includes eight additional B737-8 purchase rights and eight B787-9s.
