Avianca (Bogotá) has deployed its first A321neo into commercial service following its delivery earlier this week.

ch-aviation analysis of Flightradar24 ADS-B data indicates N759AV (msn 7770) was positioned from Hamburg Finkenwerder to Bogotá via Tenerife Sur. With the completion of the relevant handover procedures, it was then deployed into service on Tuesday, September 26, on flights between Bogotá and Lima International.

Avianca has sixteen more A321neo on direct order from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac), the European manufacturer's books indicate.

According to the ch-aviation aircraft database, Avianca currently operates eleven A321ceo on trunk Colombian routes as well as regional services from Bogotá to Peru, the Dominican Republic, and the United States. Other A321-operated services covering Mexico, Central America, and Peru are carried out by Avianca's Trans American Airlines, LACSA Costa Rica, and TACA International Airlines units.
