Ibex Airlines (FW, Sendai) has announced the conclusion of commercial CRJ200 operations. According to the Japanese regional carrier, its last remaining aircraft of the type - JA03RJ (msn 7624) - conducted its last revenue service Wednesday, September 27, as flight FW17 Fukuoka-Sendai.

As previously reported, the aircraft will be replaced with a CRJ700 in 2018 of which Ibex Airlines currently operates nine.

As it stands, J-Air (Nagoya Komaki) is the last remaining operator of the type in Japan although it has already indicated it will retire its remaining CRJ-200s by the start of the second quarter of 2018.
