Slovak Government Flying Service (SSG, Bratislava) has formally concluded Tu-154 operations following the retirement of its last remaining aircraft of the type earlier this week.

Slovakia's official Sita news agency reports OM-BYR (msn 98A-1012) was ferried to Kosice on September 27, where it will become an exhibit at the city's Museum of Aviation.

The Slovak government last year unveiled its EUR50 million (USD56.1 million) fleet renewal plan wherein its two Yak-40s would be replaced with a pair of Fokker 100s while the Tupolev Design Bureau trijet was replaced by an A319CJ.
