Ellinair (ELB, Thessaloniki) has announced it will consolidate its Moscow operations around Moscow Sheremetyevo during the Summer 2018 season.
Airline Route has reported that effective late May through to late October, Ellinair would serve Sheremetyevo from Irakleion, Kavala International, and Rhodes using B737-400/A320 equipment.
Ellinair currently serves Sheremetyevo from each of Athens, Kerkyra, and Thessaloniki.
Ellinair is owned by one of Greece's largest tour operators, Mouzenidis Travel, and specializes in scheduled flights between Greece and Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Latvia, Turkey, and Georgia. This summer season, Ellinair also operates from/to Moscow Vnukovo.
